    Proceed with Caution...

I began reading Marilyn Lee's books last year and they have never disappointed. But...Eye of the Beholder is not your typical Marilyn Lee romance novel. Keeping in mind that it is a religious/spiritual romance, I was hoping that it would a great read. The heroine (Diana) was so determined to find a God-fearing man and have that man be her hero (David) that she tried to force her religious beliefs and faith on (David) in the hopes that he would learn to accept his personal tragedy without questioning and doubting his faith. When a person loses a loved one, he or she has to find their own way...without strong influences that they may not be ready for. Also, the story lacked passion and dragged on. So, again...proceed with caution.

Eye of the Beholder (Spiritual Based IR Love Story)

Marilyn Lee is a great writer/Author. This was one of the first books I read by Marilyn Lee and I liked it. I do, however, agree with the first reviewer that a person should "proceed with caution" as it will depend upon the individual reader ("good" or "bad" read). The main character, Diane in the beginning was a bit much to take, but David's character was interesting...and it all came together in the end. I do recommend other Marilyn Lee books, as I mentioned above...after reading this I purchased other Marilyn Lee books and was very surprised and delighted with her style of writing from one extreme to the other. Google Marilyn Lee and you will be surprised by her writing style and depth of characters in her books.

    238 pages of christian love

This was a sweet love story. I thought the daughter was way too out spoken and should have been told to shut up. I think that diane threw her self at david and it made me feel ackward how many times/ ways can a man say no before you take a hint? After he became interested it got good though. Actually diane annoyed me she was desparate clingy and too forward where was her pride? IT was well written and i liked the christian influence it wasnt overwelming.
