A move in the right direction!

To be honest, I didn't have high hopes for Eye of the Storm since I didn't enjoy Distant Rumbling as much.

    Boy was I wrong!

This sequel seems to make up for all the misgivings of the first book. (Don't get me wrong, I didn't dislike Distant Rumbling; it just wasn't a stickler.) Eye of the Storm is full of rich, interesting characters while expanding on the already existing ones from its predecessor. Kane remains to be the same witty character as before, which makes his dialog that much more entertaining.

Believe me, you are in for a treat with this book. I can't wait for the next addition to this series!
