When I find myself caught up in story lines and riding the emotional roller coasters of the characters, I know I've found a rare find. It takes a lot to really move me and this book did. It's not just a good read it's a great one.
Different from other romance novels, Eyes of Gold Eyes of Silver shows a realistic view of what a couple facing racial adversity not just from neighbors & friends but family as well faces and how they work to overcome it all. Having to deal with not just the verbal or emotional abuse but the physical as well.
There are no slow starts in this book, you're thrown into their reality tight in the first chapter and from there on in you're pulled right into a difficult journey full of unimagined obstacles and challenges but also love and healing.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a real romance story full of real life affecting situations and the will to fight for love.

I read alot of romance books, and believe me this is one of the best. The story just pulls you right from the start and once you start to read, you can't put it down. This is a true love story. The best $2.99 I ever spent!!!

Overview
Eyes is a story of family conflicts set in Colorado in 1885. Unmarried at 28, Anne Wells is a disgrace to her rigidly conventional family. Cord Bennett is the black sheep of the Bennett clan. When these two misfits are found alone together, violence explodes. Can Anne and Cord use the freedom of being condemned for sins they didn't commit to make a life together in spite of their families?
