Editorial Reviews

Shawn Morris
Wow! I thought I'd take a quick peek at Eyes of the Jackal before bed. The next thing I knew it was 4 am and I'd finished the book. The characters grabbed my hand and pulled me along until I'd learned their story. Eyes of the Jackal is a fantasy adventure and a three hanky romance novel combined. I highly recommend this book and look forward to Joni Latham's next offering.

Meet the Author

Joni's imagination has kept her company all her life. It was only
recently at the urging of a character on television, who demanded a
rewrite, that this native Texan put the stories running around her
head on paper. Although she has had various poems and short stories
published over the years, Eyes Of The Jackal is her first published
full-length novel. This daydreamer not only writes, but also works
behind the scenes. In the past, she has worked as an editor and
graphics arts editor in the e-publishing industry. Currently, she is
in her 2nd year as the President of the Denton Writer's League. She
also is the moderator for the Poetry Forum at the Writers BBS, and
the Editor-In-Chief of Twilight Times, an e-zine dedicated to
speculative fiction.

The chocolate scene alone is worth the price!

What happenes when a powerful vampire is drawn into our world? Is the vampire's world the imagining of the woman author who has written a series on him, or is it all 'real' and she its historian? Shakespearian plot twists with romance (hot, adult, romance), lover's misunderstandings, dire peril, good natured humor and (of course) good vs. evil, all make this several cuts above the average vampire yarn. Besides, it's a fun read. Buy it! You'll like it!
