Editorial Reviews

Julia Sherred
This graphic novel is a must-read for anyone who has ever wanted to (or tried to) pursue a dream in the arts (whether that dream be in television/film, comic books, studio art, music, etc). Anyone with that background could easily understand either Scott’s drive or Dan’s crippling fear of failure. I won’t say that this book made me tear-up a little (it didn’t, I swear), but it did hit very close to home for me and I felt a close connection to these two characters.

EZ Street is a beautiful work about abandoning practicality and putting everything on the line to create something amazing from what was only “vapor and dreams.” It provides the perspective of those within the industry who are creating these novels, and while those well-versed in the comic business will appreciate the subtle reflections of their everyday lives, anyone with an ambition will relate to and adore this novel.
