Alora has a strange oddity; she can talk to inanimate objects. Maybe that's why her parents put her in F.A.U.X. – a mental health institution, when she was just a kid. One day a shape shifter named Ace takes her away from the only place she's ever known, to meet more people with strange oddities. Alora learns of a whole new world where she is not branded as crazy; where she has freedom and friends and sometimes might need to trust less willingly. Alora helps her new people fight a battle much more dangerous than she could have hoped while dealing with something that looms around in her dreams.
