Overview

In this science fiction novel UC Poika sets the end of the world in the ever escalated Oil Wars of the future where the governments of the world fight over the remaining oil to the last drop destroying the world and their credibility to rule in the process. How far in the future is hard to say but as the book unfolds there are two classes of people the city dwellers who live in cities that resemble prewar cities and travel around like gigantic space ships, and refugees who are kept thinking the wars are still going on and they must flee to remote areas for safety. The key to the facade is the Great Interruption where the memories of both refugees and city dwellers have been erased. However it is all based in an exploration in the life of a genetic mishap in the person of Jaden Carter a psychic, while end of the world powers vie for the DNA of the people, mostly people from the refugee faction. There is some graphic moments in here, and I had to make this adult people there is an orgy scene and some of the action is more than a bit gory. If you are under 13 for goodness sake leave this one on the shelf, sorry about that.

Meet the Author

I was born in Gemmel, a very small town in Minnesota in the heart of bear country, the Big Bog area, but I lived in Bemidji less than 50 miles from the source of the great Mississippi River for almost all my life. I suffered a debilitating illness until I was around 40 years old and have been doing a lot of catching up having written 14 novels and many short stories and even a few books of poetry in just four short years. I am an incurable romantic but have never been married and have no children. I write what I feel and what I love. I love fiction. i adore Minnesota and I cherish the far out fringes of my imagination ... the further the better. They say I write like Edgar Allen Poe and I hope that is true since Poe is probably my favorite next to Asimov whose short stories I cut my teeth on. Not as a sidelight at all I am a Christian who believes God likes it when we are really who we are and being real with what we enjoy. I reason that if we are to be like Christ when we see him what is all the sadness and personal torment about ... I mean like it won't make God love us more or anything. But to each their own I always say. And, please by all means enjoy what you may of my writings. I am very happy to have the opportunity to write at last. But for your own sake if no one else, keep an open mind.
