Alot of you will be thinking 'who the hell are Angel City'? The rest of the world would simply know them as The Angels. Hand picked by AC/DC back in the mid 70's for their awsome live act, the Angels toured with AC/DC all over Oz.They keep delivering the best hard rock you'll hear today. Face to Face is no exception, with Axel Rose being a confesed fan, G&R even covered Marseilles, while Motley crue covered Take a Long Line. If you want to get into a new band, get into the Angels or Angel City as they are known in the U.S.

Let's see, where do I start? Oh yes, it was the winter of 1980, and there was this band at Kingsway Garden Mall in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and they were signing their latest release(Dark Room) plus also Face To Face their earlier release. Well anyway fast forward to December of 1986 to April of 1987 while my girlfriend and I were hitchhiking through Australia. The Angels or Angel City came out with a superb album(Howling). We were at Bondi Beach and people were passing out posters that said,"Live at the Hall-the Angels". Ever since then I have been a fan of theirs. True Rock'n'Roll!! Check out two minute warning, beyond salvation, and oh yes, Night Attack also! You won't be disappointed!

Face To Face is a phenomenal album that I've been listening to since 1981. I was fortunte to see these guys open for the Kinks in 1981 and have been hooked ever since. Incendiary guitar playing, a solid rythm section and some well-thought lyrics make this band the perfect fusion of punk and hard rock. Do yourself a favor and pick up this cd!
