Overview

Vitorino "Click" Coglinaese shouldn't feel more at home in a war zone than he does in his own backyard. But when you earn yourself a nickname like Click, the only sound the enemy hears before you strike, transitioning back to civilian life is a more insurmountable task than any combat mission. Click knows his family is longing for the kid who left for boot camp six years ago, but now he finds himself feeling like a stranger amidst his loved ones. The only thing strong enough to pull him back to Sturbridge, Tennessee is knowing one of his four sisters is in trouble.

Can Click fight his nightmares and haunting memories long enough to save his sister? Can Jordan, the woman he loves, help him navigate his way toward peace with his family? Or will facing home be the one fight Click can't win.

I loved this book.  It held my interest throughout the entire book.  I read it in one day.  It centers on Click a retired Marine special service op.  He returns home to Tennessee to help because one on his four sisters is in trouble.  He has always been there for family when they needed him.  He takes his girlfriend, Jordan with him to meet his Italian family.  Click's mom is a very outspoken woman and can be quite intimidating when meeting new people especially her baby boy's girlfriend.  The scene at his home is overwhelming to say the least.  Three sisters with their husbands and children and his mom and dad and a new dog.  His mom is not happy because they are staying at a hotel.  He learns about his sister, Bianca dancing in a strip club.  She is now single and raising her two children.  He wants to know why.Jonah has left his family and not told anyone why.  Jonah has been like a brother to Click.  This story will hold your interest.  I think you will find it as exciting as I did.  Good job Danielle

Danielle Stewart has hit it out of the park with this one! The Clover series is a great one and this book just makes it even greater! Click and Jordan are very interesting and likable characters. You can't help routing for them. Lots of twists and turns in the story have you on the edge of your seat. Hard to put the book down!!
