    Highly recommended.

We live in a fast pace age where action seems to be what sells everything. This book is not about action but instead about relationships. It is a feel good book. You will smile and laugh and smile again. Nothing blows up and no body dies. I hope you give this book a try. I have a hard copy as well and it is loaned out at the time I am writing this.

    A reviewer

This book had me captivated from the first page. It is witty and, I think, more true to life than half of the so-called realistic fiction books that fill bookstores today. The writing is non-traditional, but it only adds to the wit of the story. It is well written, and I would especially recommend that anyone who loves music should read this book. One of my all-time favorites.

    Hohum...

This book definately is not at the top of my list. I had to read it for school and then do all that report stuff on it too which just seemed to make this book even worse. There is no point to it whatsoever! However, I didn't hate it, I just don't recommend it to anyone.

    Horrible!!!

This book was so bad, it did not flow right together, and it was really pointless. I had to read this in class, and I pretty much was sleeping through the whole thing!! It was so boring and pointless, in my opinion, DO NOT READ THIS BOOK!!

    A Musician's Book

I fell in love with this book the first time I read it, when I was in sixth grade. I have read it so many times since then, and love it more every time I read it. I do not have a copy of my own yet, so every time I get it from the public library, I read it at least twice. It is a great book for anyone, but especially string players, or people who can find beauty in their everyday surroundings. This book is especially meaningful for me, since I want to become a professional violist, and have already gotten my vibrato.
