Overview

It is ill-advised to incur the wrath of a faery, but it is most foolish to do so of a faery queen…
Realm Immortal, Book Two
Queen Tania of the Faeries is tired of waiting for Hugh, the Earl of Bellemare, to come back to her. A year has passed since his commitments pulled him from her side and she’s begun to suspect he never intended to return. Disheartened, the queen’s mood darkens until she finds she has no choice but to teach the earl a lesson he will never forget—that no human should dare lie to a faery queen.
Hugh’s hatred of the magical world is well known and he wishes to live out the rest of his life in the mortal realm, doing his noble duty. Too bad his heart hasn’t caught up to his head. Thoughts of a tenaciously seductive queen haunt him, even as he knows the woman only wanted him as a plaything for her bed. But it would seem he can’t run far enough, for the teasing nymph won’t back down and Hugh finds himself at the mercy of a vengeful faery.
Warning: This book contains hot sex, violence, a castle full of amorous faeries, a vengeful queen succumbing to her darker thoughts and the human she would make her plaything.

Very entertaining book 2 in this series was enjoyable. The book didn't only focus on the main characters Tania and Huge it gave us a bit of everyone and i liked that very entertaining felt as though and was watching a movie, dont worry the sex was good between Tania and Huge.

Not really my genre, not a fan of historical romance (it has a medieval type setting), even when it's paranormal but I love Michelle Pillow so decided to give it a go. The said Faery queen falls for Sir Hugh but he never returns to her. So to exact revenge on her fickle loves she make a pact with Lucian to have him returned to her. She was tempted by an easy way to solve her problems and opened herself up to the machinations and manipulations of Lucian. Hugh is highly wary of Queen Tania and believes she put him under a spell or enchantment. But as he slowly, oh so slowly realises that it is true love he feels,he may just be in time to save the Faery from herself!!! thinking she put him under a spell but ultimately finds that his love for her is real and just in time to save the faery from herself. I was given a copy of this e-book by the author for the purpose of an honest review.

“Hell hath no fury...” When you change woman to faery it is even worse. Hugh has broken Tania's heart and left. Gone for too long, she determines to have him even against his will—and to make him pay. She has to find true love or pay the consequences. She doesn't realize he loves her and he is not willing to admit it to himself. Although he cannot stop thinking about her, he is needed elsewhere. This story has a complicated plot and Ms Pillow does a expert job of weaving all the situations and characters together. She manages to draw the readers emotions, humor, sadness, confusion, loyalty and even dislike. She makes the unredeemed redeemable by the end so we can truly cheer them on. Love can tear apart as well as pull together. A great addition to the series even though it is a stand a lone. If you haven't read book one, read it. And then this one. A recommend for another Pillow success. I received an ARC for an honest review.
