The Faerie Guardian by Rachel Morgan is such a fun, original story to a well known genre. I fell in love with the world Rachel created from the beginning. The heroine is totally likeable and admirable. I loved this story and devoured the rest of the series because I just couldn't get enough of the fun world portrayed.

So there are 10 "full length" books squished into 750 pages, with each book carrying at least 5 pages of bloat. So each story has very little time to flesh out and develop a storyline or characters. As a result, there were only two stories that caught my attention enough to warrant an author follow-up. The rest of it was just waiting for the book to end so I could move on to something else.

***This is a review of the Dark Fae, one of the wonderful tales included in this collection!***  This set is a BARGAIN! I loved this! I was enthralled, enchanted and enamored by this lively fae story that moved fast and kept me riveted from beginning to the end. There just weren't any dull moments. The characters were fun and each was on a trip of self-discovery. This is a story that would be perfect for tweens and teens . But... it's not just for the young. I really enjoyed it, too, and I'm in my 60s. The characters shined! Alicia was raised as a human who could see the fae. All she knew about the fae royal kingdoms, she had learned from her father's journal. As she and her friend, Cassie, were vacationing on South Padre Island, Deveron, a dark fae. made a move on Cassie. Alicia literally pours cold water on him to put a halt to his shenanigans. Deveron decides that he will enjoy paying her back. He might be surprised, though, to find the tables turned on him. Within these pages, Alicia evolves from a wanna-be beach bunny to a feisty, resourceful, and strong heroine. Deveron begins as a cocky, egotistical fae who gets his kicks by playing games with innocent humans. I didn't like him at all at first. But... he executed a complete turn-around in the story to a caring, yummylicious hero. Ritasia was witty and I admired how she supported her brother and protected Alicia. The descriptions of scenes drew me right into the story. OMG! I wish I could travel like they do! The bantering and dialogue between Deveron, Alicia and Ritasia was humorous at times and always engaging. The romance between Deveron and Alicia gave me a warm and fuzzy glow. If I were Alicia, I'd never let go of him! If you listen to the audible version as I did, the narrator is very good. Her voice was clear and didn't distract me from the story. I like to listen to audibles while exercising. I can immerse myself so deeply in Terry's books, that I look forward to each session and I don't even feel the pain. Bottom-line: If you like to escape to magical fantasy worlds with fun romances, captivating characters and non-stop. entertaining adventure, rush to whatever bookstore you use, and buy this book now!

Good pricing, but only one good story out of ten that I will follow up on. I am not big on "romance" and all had that romantic story line but only two did I enjoy reading. Oh, well.

This was okay, most of the stories are for teens and are about teens. For 0.99 it worked :)

There is enough selection in this bundle for everyone. Most are very good and a couple could use a little more improvement to my mind. Overall it is very good reading.

The stories were for the most part good if a little on the Y/A readers level. I enjoyed most of them found some of them to be a little different than the usual 'Fairy' stories.

(Come on give me more fillies and colts please. Oh and I forgot to mention that Blazinwork and Fire are alicorns.) So Blazinwork,Silver Candy, and Book Worm went inside and saw Blazinwork's sister Fire."Hey bro.",Fire said."Hey sis guess what I got my cutie mark.",Blazinwork said. "No way me too.",Fire said. Fire's cutie mark was a pony cooking. Blazinwork as you already know was a superhero pony. Just then Blazinwork saw a blue-green and neon pink pony right beside Fire. "Who's this sis.",Blazinwork asked."Oh this is Phoenix Feather.",Fire said."Wow we both made friends.",Blazinwork said. Fire and Blazinwork hi-hooved each other. (Firework yes we both are spies. The kids are gonna be too.)
