Overview

FAIR PLAY can be read as a STAND ALONE novel or as BOOK TWO of the MATCHPLAY series.

The Good-Girl, the Bad-Girl and the Boy They Both Want...FAIR PLAY begins where the New Adult romance MATCHPLAY left off.

Mean girls need love, too...

Keira Whitley is used to getting what she wants and what she wants is sexy-and-smart, Aaron Donovan. They're both from extremely wealthy and prominent families and their parents have talked about getting the two of them together since they were kids.

The only problem is that Aaron recently got engaged to the girl-of-his dreams, Rainy Dey.
But Keira knows she and Aaron are supposed to be together and she's not about to let a little thing like Aaron's declaration of true love for Rainy get in her way.

But is all really fair in love and war?

WARNING: This book is told from the perspective of Keira Whitley, a villainous Queen of Mean. If you're looking for a story told from the point of view of a sweet Mary-Sue virgin, this book is NOT FOR YOU. Go read Fifty Shades of Grey again. If you decide to read this book anyway, DON'T say I didn't warn you.

Madison jumps right into this novel in the first person and give

Madison jumps right into this novel in the first person and gives a very ominous feel to all relationships in the story.  You know that no one will have an easy ride throughout, but you instinctively want to face these trials it with them.  I found myself honestly wondering how this novel would end and unable to put it down throughout.

This author’s polished writing has such a smooth flow that you feel like you’re watching a movie at times.  The novel is well put together, both in editing, formatting, and in the very solid storyline that Madison sets forth.  Her descriptions are simultaneously vivid and natural, allowing you to visualise everything that the characters experience.

The way that Madison writes this novel not only in the 1st person but also from inside the main character’s mind is earth shattering.  You really get to know the ins and outs of what she does and why she does it.  Kiera’s underhanded, scheming personality is developed perfectly, and her self-revelations not only help her discover herself, but also helps the audience get to know her and understand her world.

As a whole this was a brilliant 2nd instalment in the Matchplay series that not only makes you want to read more by this author but also makes you appreciate life.  I wouldn’t hesitate recommending it to anyone who enjoys NA romance.

Please note that I received this novel free of charge from the author in exchange for an honest review.
