I LOVED this, and you will too!

Okay folks, this is just too funny. I laughed out loud and snickered the entire time I read it. I had the best time reading this short story, and was only saddened that is ended so soon. I think Patterson is an exceptional writer and definitely one to watch. I read his novel Mercy the other day, and that was absolutely fantastic (see my review, you need a copy of that novel!). So, the first thing I did after completing Mercy was pick up a copy of Fairy Godmother-In-Law (it's only .99 cents), and it was great! Patterson has sheer talent and he covers all his bases in his writing, leaving no stone unturned and entertaining the reader until the very end. I suggest you pick up both this short story and Mercy now--you'll be doing yourself a favor if you do! Four stars!

Excellent and funny. Loved every bit.

I've seen Patterson's work in film and enjoyed it a lot. This short story is just as clever, imaginative and funny. I'll buy whatever he writes.
