Fake It: More Than 100 Shortcuts Every Woman Needs To Know by J

Fake It: More Than 100 Shortcuts Every Woman Needs To Know by Jennifer Byrne is a pithy
compendium of, well, 100 shortcuts every woman should know.  Aimed at the busy, the uninformed
and sometimes arguably lazy gal, these tips and tricks are good to tuck away for later, and the book
is a good reference to have on the shelf for when you just can’t remember how to set the table for
a dinner with the Prince of Wales, or, more to the point, how to cover that zit that suddenly appeared
    this morning.
The book occasionally reads like a collection of articles for Cosmo; however, on the other hand,
there’s been plenty of times that more information in one of those articles would be just the thing.
Byrne accomplishes that here with good segues, practical application examples and clever
    (if sometimes risqué) humor.
This is probably a read more for the younger, twenty-something set, but I enjoyed it and absolutely
picked up some good tips, tricks and shortcuts to make my world a little saner.
