My 6 year old enjoys all of the "little critter" series and is written in the same classic form. This book emphasizes Fall activities and fun - going to a Fall festival, and the events that we see happening around us with the change of the seasons - change of the leaves, pumpkins, and apple picking (and eating). It includes traditional activities such as hayrides and playing horseshoes. As an "I Can Read" book, this book in the series will grow with him, instead of him out growing them, because it is written with the intend that children will read it themselves. I give it two thumbs up!
