Overview

Resisting the cruel, conquering machine of the mighty Terran Empire, the Orion Star Cluster locks its fledgling navy in combat with one of the most brilliant Terran admirals in its history. But Orion’s only chance rests with a discovery made by a young Imperial cruiser commander named Traci Ganner.

In a routine pirate patrol, Ganner discovers a new world defended by Strike Fighters; a technology neither the Terran Empire nor Orion Clans possess. In a bid to save them both, Ganner devises a cunning plan, a plan that will come with a terrible price. To succeed, she must secretly unleash an unthinkable force and continue to stay one step ahead of everyone until it is time to reveal the truth. She is pitted in a game of wits against the highest levels of Imperial Command, including the Emperor himself, in order to save her own life, and those she cares for.

Editorial Reviews

Gregory J. Saunders
I genuinely liked the story presented in Fall Of The Terran Empire and I think it is well worth the read... for most science fiction readers it will keep you thinking until the very end, then it will throw you a final twist...

(Official Apex Reviews Rating: 3.5 Stars) In the distant future, the mighty Terran Empire rules the farthest regions of the universe with an iron fist; however, the rebellious souls of the Orion Cluster are determined to wrest themselves from the grasp of the brutal empire - even if it takes death to do so. Eventually, the fate of Orion comes to rest with the unassuming Traci Ganner, a young imperial commander who soon makes a crucial discovery that could tip the balance of the war. The success of her mission, though, may ultimately depend on the convergence of factors far out of the realm of her control... Rife with a host of surprising twists and turns, Fall Of The Terran Empire is quite the intriguing read. The debut installment in a promising new Sci-Fi series, author Brian Jeffreys' imaginative tale serves as a fantastical allegory of the age-old story of good vs. evil. Effectively capturing the growing sense of unrest fostered by years of brutal oppression, Fall Of The Terran Empire is sure to resonate deep within the hearts and minds of fans of such classics as Star Wars, Dune, and other similarly inspiring tales of courage in the face of tyranny. A cleverly crafted commentary on the perils of power, politics, and corruption. Read and enjoy. Chelsea Perry Apex Reviews
