Meet the Author

Julie Particka was told to get serious about her future in Junior High. Several years after getting a bachelor's degree in chemistry, she realized being serious was over-rated and went back to her first love—writing. Now rather than spending her days in the drudgery of the lab or teaching science to high school students, she disappears into worlds of her own creation where monsters sometimes roam, but true love still conquers all.

She can most often be located in the Detroit area with her favorite minions (the ones who know her as Mom) where she is currently hatching a plot for world domination. It involves cookies for everyone, so she's pretty sure there's no way it can fail…except the minions keep eating the cookies.

    A miss

A story that easily could have been great, slowly degenerated into a series of unromantic moments, and head shaking "no you didn't just say or do that ". The heroine/ lead was weak and the brother of her bestie-- didn't have the charisma or it seems the know how to use "heavy machinery". I'd say skip it and try another clearance title. I know I wish I had.

I really enjoyed reading Fall with Me, it was a cute romance story full of character development, secrets and an overall great ending.

The last thing Jenna wants to do when she moves back to her old town after breaking up with her college boyfriend is to work along side Sutton Bell. Not only is he her ex-best friend's brother, but she also used to have a crush on him growing up. Now she is back in her old home trying to get passed what her ex did to her by dumping her for her best friend. But everything is put to the test when old feelings start to resurfaced as Jenna and Sutton start to spend more time together.

Sutten Bell has always had a thing for Jenna, but being her best friend's older brother put Jenna off-limits. Now she is back and he is determined to convince Jenna that he is not the player he used to be by helping her get revenge on her ex. What they weren't expecting to be in the middle of family issues and old secrets that will put their relationship to the test. Jenna will have to decide whether falling for Sutton all over again is worth it in the end.

The characters in the book were compelling, they both had to let go of the past in order to move on with their lives. There were times when Jenna was just so stubborn to see pass what she had in front of her, and that complicated things a bit more for her. Sutton made drastic decisions, that didn't help him at all. It's evident that both characters went through character development as they faced their fears of letting go of the past. Their chemistry from the beginning was there and it grows more throughout the book. Overall, the story is very well-written, and the twist at the end worked. I highly recommend it.

    4.5 Stars!

Jenna has the heart of gold that every girl envys, wants to say they have, but could never bring themselves to actually be that saintly. At least, that's how it is for me. If my fiance dumped me through a text to go be with my best friend AND MARRY HER, I wouldn't be trying to save my once best friend from making the mistake of her life.
But I also probably wouldn't have the dreamy hunk, the best friend's brother, Sutton, trying to convince me to be the better person. That might help turn my heart more toward good.

Jenna thought she had her life planned out with Adam, but then he smashes all of those fantasies with one simple text; he loves her, but not enough. Then Lacey follows that up with an apology. Yes, like this whole incident can be cured with an apologize text and all is forgiven. Nope. Not happening.
Jenna has to return home from college to work for her father and along side Sutton. Little does she know, what she thought was the end of the world is actually the beginning of a life-altering revenge scheme.
Sutton always loved Jenna, but the mistakes from his past have her not reciprocating the way he wants her to. Sutton being a past playboy with everyone except for Jenna when they were in high school. She doesn't believe that he finds her attractive and he must find a way to prove that otherwise.
Lacey is making a huge mistake in agreeing to marry Adam and Sutton makes it his mission to break up their engagement in order to save his sister, but his plan involves putting Jenna back in the realm of Adam and his conniving ways.
Can Sutton go through with their plan of revenge on Adam and salvation of Lacey? Does Jenna have enough in her heart to be close to Adam again for the sake of Lacey? Will Sutton and Jenna survive or will Sutton pick his sister over the love of his life?

I truly enjoyed the sass and spunk of Jenna as well as her good-nature and desire for Sutton. You don't usually see the playboy no longer the playboy before the girl comes back into the picture, but it was refreshing to see that Sutton had made the change on his own and just needed to prove it.
Well written with twists I never saw coming. This book deserves to be read again!

Julie Particka's Fall With Me took two of my favorite tropes – the fake relationship and the very real falling for a friend – and combined them together in a book that was utterly unputdownable for me. Was it predictable? Of course. Is that a bad thing? Not even a little bit.

Jenna and Sutton have known each other for years and once upon a time, there was a flicker of something more than friendship between them. He's her best friend's brother and she's had a crush on him forever. What she doesn't know is that he feels the same about her. When Jenna's boyfriend dumps her for her best friend, and Sutton's sister Lacey, neither of them are pleased about this relationship. Jenna's ex is a real dirt bag, but Lacey insists there's more to him and their relationship. Sutton and Jenna decide to team up and fake date to break them up. This pairing leads up to a whole lotta drama as feelings become more apparent and other truths are revealed.

Fall With Me was a short read, but a really enjoyable one. It was sometimes sweet, sometimes sexy and a good new adult book through and through. I really enjoyed the characters, even in those moments where I wanted to smack sense into them.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

    Such a great story!

This book is a great read. The characters are realistic and down to earth. I love that they both seem like real people.

Jenna is instantly likeable. She's strong, yet still has her weaknesses. She's been burned and doesn't want it to happen again, but...Sutton!

Sutton is a great character. I loved him from the start. Maybe because I picture a young Tom Welling as Sutton, but I did love Sutton as a character. He's flawed, and isn't afraid to admit it. He has his weaknesses, and Jenna is one of them. I loved that about him.

The story flows so well. I read it the first time in one sitting--couldn't put it down. I fell into this world of Jenna and Sutton and couldn't break free until "the end".

I think this book is a great indicator that Julie Particka is going to be one to watch in the New Adult genre.

A heartfelt romantic tale that had me enthralled from start to finish. I really couldn’t stop reading until I had finished it all. The main characters Jenna and Sutton are very loveable. I absolutely love Jenna’s character, the sweet young girl, who gets her heart broken by her boyfriend and her own best friend Lacey. However things are about to change for Jenna, as she meets the dashing and charming Sutton, who happens to be Lacey’s brother. They’re both attracted to each other and sparks fly. Julie captures the romance between both perfectly and in a tasteful way. Sutton, hates Jenna’s ex and his sisters fiancé Adam, and vows to split them apart, by enlisting Jenna’s help. Jenna wanting payback for Adams deceit joins Sutton. Along the way their romance unfolds, and as it happens things get complicated. A very well written romantic story by a great author. A must read for readers out there.

This book was not bad but not one of my favorites, also short, quick read. I really didn't have any particular issue with it other than it just didn't have a lot to it. The story is guy cheats on girl, leaves girl for best friend. Then best friends bother, girls first love, asks her to help break up the pair. Most of the interaction is between girl and the brother, not much between BFF or ex. A little lack-luster for me. Still gave it 4 stars.

Fall With Me was a book that I was extremely excited to hear about. I was in the mood for a fun, romantic read and this sounded like a perfect fit. While it is both fun and romantic, it is not exactly what I had been expecting. After reading the blurb, I was looking forward to watching Sutton and Jenna work the plan they made together. However, there was less of that and more unnecessary drama between Sutton and Jenna.

First off, I really liked the relationship between Sutton and Jenna at the start of the book. They were cute and funny and I enjoyed the banter between them. I liked seeing the way they began to work together and trust each other. However, I often felt like they were the causes of all of their problems. I didn't understand the logic they used when making decisions. I could see so obviously that the choices they were making would not lead to good things but they were blind to it. They made more drama than was believable. Also, I felt like we didn't get to know them all that well because they had previously known each other before getting together so there was no period of time where they were discovering each other so we never were able to discover them, either.

The plot was fun and pretty fast but it wasn't what I had been expecting. I was really looking forward to watching the plan Sutton and Jenna had devised unfold throughout the novel. However, the execution lasted only two days and there was hardly anything involved with it. Rather than being the driving force of the plot, it was just a tool used to bring Jenna and Sutton together. The rest was just sort of them muddling through their relationship and making problems that were easily avoidable.

Toward the end, I really didn't even know what was going on. Sutton's logic for the things he did was absolutely horrible and so completely unbelievable that I couldn't even pretend that I understood them. Again, just the conflicts and the logic they used to progress the plot were unbelievable and hard to follow.

Despite my obvious problems with Fall With Me, I did actually enjoy reading it quite a lot. I began reading and absolutely could not put it down. This is a novel that, while I probably won't go back to it, I was happy I had the chance to read.

"Received and ARC for an honest review"

I read this book in one sit, it's a shirt novel that was quite enjoyable.

Jenna is a girl that needs to get over his ex and the betrayal of her best friend. She didn't think that Sutton, her best friend's brother and childhood crush, would be able to help her. What she didn't foresaw was that her feelings hadn't died and that in fact what she always thought about how Sutton felt since turning her down years before wasn't what she imagined.

I totally recommend this quick read and would absolutely read more books from Julie Particka.

This was an well plotted romance between Jenna, whose fiancé left her and became engaged to her best friend, and Sutton, the best friends older brother. Their relationship happens really fast, (almost too fast for me), and both set out to save his sister from similar pain. I found the conflict at the end of the book to be a little juvenile and I agree with other reviewers that it felt a little too high school for me. Not really my cup of tea, but i am sure many will enjoy.

5 "let's hear it for strong heroines" Stars

Well this book was a refreshing surprise. Jenna, recently dumped by her fiance for her best friend, finds herself back home after college working for her father. What she didn't expect was working with Sutton, said best friend's brother, oh yeah, and her high school crush.

Sutton is desperate to get his sister away from the d-bag Adam and to work on things with Jenna. Despite his past as a womanizer, Sutton is hoping to turn over a new leaf back home and he is hoping Jenna could be part of that. Is it possible for Jenna to get some revenge on her ex while Sutton is able to save his sister from him at the same time? More important, can Sutton start something with Jenna during there plotting, despite neither of them really being over their pasts.

I really enjoyed this book. It cruises along at a quick pace and kept me interested. I loved Jenna. She has her moments of wallowing, but she was great. She spoke her mind and was true to her heart. I loved that she was not one of those wishy/washy heroines that seem to spotlight other stories. Go Jenna.

Sutton was ok as the hero. Some parts of him I loved like his caring nature. I loved his witty banter with Jenna and his nickname for her. But unfortunately for me he took on the role of "I'm just not good enough for her" and ruins things along the way.

But never fear, the awesome heroine will save the day. Personally she was a little too forgiving in my book but that is probably what made her even more likable. I also liked her dad, he was pretty cool. I wish there was an epilogue as that would have made the book even better(they are one of my favorite parts of a book). Overall, highly recommend this one.

Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

What do you do when your fiancé dumps you at the last minute to

What do you do when your fiancé dumps you at the last minute to marry your best friend? First off you refuse to speak to your best friend any more and then you plot revenge with your coworker. Sounds simple enough. Except that your coworker broke your heart as a teen, he is also hotter than hot, and he's your ex-best friend's brother.

This book could have been very predictable, but the author brings true life into the story. Though some things are predictable, there are surprises through out the book. The characters come alive and you feel like you personally know them all.

    Great read. Two thumbs up!
