    "FALLEN BLOOD" (REVIEW)

MARTIN C. SHARLOW'S "FALLEN BLOOD" (REVIEW)

A Vampire named Brian falls for a human girl named Heather and finds himself going to extraordinary lengths to not only keep her safe but to make her fall for him. The only problem is when he's forced to reveal his true nature he has to take the chance on her being able to keep his secret and not finding him to be more of a monster than the ones she's running from.

    fallen blood

Brian is not your typical teenager. He secretly loves Heather, but she only notices him or talks to him when he appears in her dreams. While visiting Heather one night, Brian discovers she is in trouble and tries his best to help her. They get into quite a few sticky situations in Brian's attempt to save Heather. I enjoyed this book, it was a quick fun read and my interest is peaked for the next installment.

    Pretty good

Fallen Blood by Martin C Sharlow
    Review by shayrp
Brian is not an ordinary teenager. He is a vampire. Heather, an ordinary girl who had never noticed Brian before, is the object of his obsession and lust. Brian gets his chance to inject himself into her life when she becomes the object of an unknown adversary's obsession. In order to save her Brian must discover things about himself and what is capable of doing. Brian and Heather meet an unlikely ally on the road, Bobby an over the road trucker, whose help turns out to be priceless.
This is not an original story but it is told in an original way which as a reader I appreciate. The relationships were strained but in a necessary way. Lots of action and Brian's ability development was fun to read. The sexual content, especially the detailed descriptions of a teen girl's body was a bit too much for me. A couple of times I felt like I should give her some privacy. This story was lacking romance so that content was uncomfortable to read.
I would recommend this book to someone who likes young adult action and adventure stories, especially for vampire fans. It's an easy read with some twists and turns along the way.
