    Edit please

The book was pretty good but the editing was terrible. It was hard to read with all the spelling errors and incorrect words. In several places they even used the word 'die' instead of 'the' - talk about changing the meaning of the sentence. They called one of the main characters Paul by the name Paid in several places. These were just a few of the MANY errors in this book. Very frustrating reading!

    Thrill Ride!!!

Chloe King starts out as an ordinary girl until she accidentally falls from Coit Tower, San Francisco¿s tallest tower. Chloe should have died, but instead she was practically unharmed and then everything starts to change. Chloe starts to develop catlike abilities and begins to exhibit behaviors that are unusual. Suddenly she can run really fast and leap long distances and become more outgoing and confident. This book is full of thrills and it is very entertaining, however it may not be appropriate for all ages. This book does have some foul language, sexual references, and references to alcohol and smoking, but overall I do not think that it is that offensive. Some would say that this book is terrible because of these elements, but I assure you that it is nothing that a teenager has never heard before and if I were to compare it to some other novels, this book is actually quite mild. Overall the characters are well developed, everything is well written and there is hardly a dull moment. This is a great book with adventure, love triangles, the supernatural, and many unexpected twists. If you like supernatural adventures and don¿t mind some bad language and sexual references, then I highly recommend reading this book!

    Seriously?

The book is good. But like others have said, the typo's are so bad I couldn't even get through it. I was so annoyed. In every word the had an "tl" next to eachother example: page 74 where it's SUPPOSED to say "Subtle" it says "Subde" or other places where "exactly" is "exacdy" Also, in some places where it was supposed to be an exclaimation point, there's either nothing there, or an "i"
If you buy the trilogy all together the typo's aren't there but buying just this one is the worst mistake of your life. I can't stand so many typo's.
I want a refund on this.

Alana Marie: The fallen is one book. The other one which is 2 dollars more is three books, like three parts of the series. Worth it trust me, Typo's aren't in there when you buy as a set.

    interesting series

The Chloe King books, a series of 3, are a fast read. Chloe as a teenage girl has typical teenage issues, boys, friends, mom, growing up, and on top of all that is killed and finds she can turn into a cat and someone is still after her. The writing is good and th story is interesting. Read the whole series now, before the tv show on ABC Family comes out.

    Very Disappointed

This is my first negative review and ive read hundreds of books. Im not critical or picky, but this was really ridiculous. The writer has a great story but the reader cant truly "get lost" in the story because of the unbelievable amount of errors! I mean, its not a free download so i feel cheated that i bought this i loved the series and decided to buy all the ebooks in the series, but now im reconsidering. Each time i start to read it i get frustrated trying to figure out what that particular word is suppose to be, so therefore losing the whole feel of the moment. It would have been good if it was typed properly.

    Great book

This book makes you forget about the super heroe characteristics of the story, by adding teenage woes, and normal worries. You could relate to Chloe, more than you could relate to any other run of the mill superheroe, if you even think of her as one. There's my gushy review.

    I loved all the books!

I would not recommend you to get this book for The Nine Lives of Chloe Kiing Series. I loveee all the books, but there is ONE book with All threee books and that one book is cheaper then the first book by itself! So I would reccommend you read the series but not with this certain book!(:

    I Also Recommend:

    Do not buy this book!

I found this book terrible! I bought it and read about 100 pages. It was horrible. I thought I would love it because I LOVE the t.v show! Boy was I wrong. Normally the books are way better, not in this case. Either get it from the library if you still want to read it or just stick to watching the show!

    Worth reading once

    Pros:
The central story is interesting enough to keep you hooked throughout the trilogy.

The plot contains twists and turns to keep it interesting and you are never sure how it will end until it does.

Chloe is really a brilliantly created character who is full of life, determination, and humor.

The series is a quick read: only 3 books, each about 170 pages.

    Cons:
There are typos on almost every page, giving the book a fill-in-the-blank quality. It is definately still readable, but not smooth.

The plot and characters have strong potential but are only minimally developed, so the book sadly does not achieve its potential. The characters reasons and motives are often written out directly instead of shown through action.

The content of the book is for more mature audiences: graphic violence, heated makeout sessions/sex, frequent cussing, school skipping, and drug references. Maybe this was done to make the characters more "teenager" but the effect is insulting if stereotypical.

    Overall:
This is a good series for upper teen to adult readers, but is probably not one you'll read again and again.

    Fiction is not fact

To anonymous, fiction is a broad classification which encompasses all creative works which are not verifiably factual. This includes all sub-genres like fantasy, romance, drama, sci-fi, etc. I hope this helps.

I haven't read the series yet, but enjoyed the show enough to want to purchase the series in ebook form. I will take the advise given and buy the whole series as one, since typos annoy me as well.

    Don't buy this NOOK version!!

This version includes only the first book of the three part series and is replete with typos. For one dollar less you can buy a nook book that contains all three books of the series, though the cover art is worse. This combo version also has almost no typos. A fun quick read, though it only losely follows the tv show which is based on the books.
