FIRST and Foresmost if cliffhangers drive you crazy, buy this and set it aside till 3 comes out because V doesn't do cliffhagers - she does skydives!!!! Oh.My.Gosh! Give me a few minutes to compose myself and collect my thoughts. I was really curious how V would make the switch to BRian from Connor, without making Abby come off sleezy. The switch was fantastically done and so relatable and understandable. You feel for every character and just want to cheer for those who are together and weep for the one left on the sideline. I LOVED the eyes closed, yet your body feel and react scene. I mean WOW! Characters are all those you know and love from book one. Skylar CRACKS me UP!!!! Connor has taken a pretty back seat in this book of course, but pops in to rileyou up just as you get content with where things are. The storyline flows perfectly, and is not rushed or drawn out. PERFECT pace. Each decleration of love or fightingwords for affectipn are placed exactly where they shoould be, and make your stomach tense in anticipation. My kindle was flipping pages like a mad woman as I was sucked in to my read, my finger may have a bruise on the tip from pressing with such force. The end. UGH! I KNEW it was coming. I just knew it my stomach flipped, my heart fluttered a mile a minute, and I stopped breathing. I flipped past the last page and back again hoping for more to appear. Skydive - seriously. This series is a MUST read! **I received a free copy of this book in return for an honest review**

Violet Duke's Falling For the Good Guy is nothing short of amazing. Not many author's have Duke's skill as an author for totally selling her characters and their stories to that place deep within their reader's heart. Duke makes it seem effortless. I readily admit I fell hopelessly in love with Connor in Resisting the Bad Boy right along with Abby and started reading Falling For the Good Guy stubbornly and solidly Team Connor. At the same time I knew if anyone could sway my opinion it was Violet Duke. Sometimes I hate being right, but she does not disappoint. FFTGG is filled with witty dialogue, laughter, love, heartbreaking moments, passion, and so much more that kept this reader fervently flipping to the next page to see how it would play out, while at the same time, never wanting it to end. Abby and Brian have been best friends and 100% involved in each others lives for over thirteen years. She was by his side through the birth of his daughter, the caretaking of his wife, helping to raise Skylar, and as he recovered from the loss of Beth, his beloved wife and her good friend. They have ALWAYS loved each other and have a history so romantically tragic it begs for a future filled with happiness. Add in the role Abby has played as an undefined surrogate Mom to Skylar and Duke makes it all seem so right for them to finally be a real family. But it also seemed so right that Abby was the light to Connor's broken soul and they were destined to be together. And of course, Abby still has unresolved feelings for Connor and he for her. Which brings us to book three of this wonderful series which will finally tell us which of the Sullivan brothers Abby will end up with. I can't wait to buy the next book, Choosing the Right Man!!

I totally enjoyed this book! Read it in one day, just couldn't put it down. Very well written and didn't ramble on and on like some books. Can't wait to read the next one.

To tell you the truth, I wasn't so happy with this book at first, as I thought she should have stayed with the brother in book 1, but as this book went on, I got hooked. You may not have the same reasoning I did, but you will love this one also. This brother is a very caring dad to a 12 year old girl, and widower, who has ALWAYS loved her, even when she was with his brother. And she has always loved him too, but more like a friend, and the book is sort of bittersweet, because you can put yourself in her shoes and see how she's TRYING to love him with everything she has, and it's just falling a t-i-n-y bit short. I will tell you, this book had me in tears several times, but laughter, too. Violet Duke is definitely an author to watch for future great books, as this trilogy is definitely a keeper. Be sure to follow it up with book 3!!

This book will have you changing your mind left and right as to what you want for the main character! What a fun experience as a reader... Hold on tight, the whole Nice Girl to Love series will mess with your emotions! But, isn't that what you want as a reader? Purchase all 3 books. You won't regret it.

Amazing!!!! It is quite amazing how Violet told this story. Abby didn't come across sleezy. Brian and Conner didn't make her feel that way either :) Skylar rocks in this book. Having to deal with so many issues for a teen can be hard. I hope that we hear a story from her perspective and a possible love interest as she gets older. I am sure that she can't "leave " the story line so soon. The story line flows perfectly through this book and leaves with wanting more. I am looking forward to the next book to see what happens.

After reading about Connor it was heartbreaking to see Abby go into a relationship with Brian. You start reading hoping nothing will come from the relationship. Then as you get to know all the characters and feel the love they have for each other you start rooting for the relationship to work. I found myself cheering for Brian. When Connor comes back into the picture you feel such heartbreak for him. He loves her so much he is willing to give his brother chance to find the love he wants. That is something you don't see everyday. The devastation that Brian has gone through, along with the twisted father of them both. You find yourself so draw to this whole drama. Violet has done a terrific job of putting emotion down on paper and dragging you into its depths. I cannot even imagine how Abby will ever be able to decide what way she will ending going. Thank You so much for allowing us all to become a part of this wonderful writer.

Review by Danielle @ Coffee and Characters Okay so after reading Resisting the Bad Boy, I thought I was team Conner all the way but then came the other Sullivan brother and I became Team Brian all the way and now... Well...can't I have them both? Falling for the Good Guys was so completely emotional for me. I have not felt like my heart was ripped from my chest so much in my life than I have from reading this book. This is a fast paced and heart melting read that leaves you wanting so much more of the Sullivan brothers. And Abby, she is the type of woman we all want to be our best friend. She's strong and brave and always tries to do what she thinks is right, always putting others before herself like poor Skylar, damn that poor kid! I cried for her, I cried for Brian, I cried for Abby. Safe to say I cried alot. Falling for the Good Guy was amazing and something new came at every turn. This one is an absolute must read!

The author did a great job transitioning to the other brother in this story. I didn't think she'd be able to pull it off but she did. I love both brothers now!

I was so happy to read more of Abby's search for love in Falling for the Good Guy! In Falling for the Bad Boy (book one) Abby and Connor had a month long fling. That was the time frame Connor set out from the start. Abby has been trying to get over him ever since! His brother Brian has been Abby's best friend forever! She saw him through his wife's illness and death, has been there since for him and his daughter, and the 3 of them hang out together all the time. Now that Connor and Abby are no more, Brian is starting to see what has been in front of him all this time with Abby. His feelings towards her are changing, and he wants to be more than best friends. Abby has given herself a time frame she'll wait for Connor for, and Brian intends to be there for her when that time is past! Abby feels sparks with Brian too, but she's not too sure she wants to risk their friendship to explore what ever more could be between them. She is also very aware of Brian's strong feelings for his deceased wife and does not want to be a stand in for her! Brian has his work cut out for him convincing Abby to give them a chance! Violet gives us another great book with Falling for the Good Guy! She manages to draw you in quickly and effortlessly! Going from one brother to the next is not something I'm really into and was kind of wondering how this would play out, but Violet writes so well and in such a way that there is no 'ew' factor at all! Connor does not play a big part in Falling for the Good Guy, this really is Abby and Brian's story. Violet writes all of the scenes from the funny ones to the sexy ones flawlessly, working them so well into the story. By now I think we've all picked who we want Abby to end up with if it is Connor or Brian, and I just can't wait for book 3 to come out! :) Will Connor stay in the background and give up Abby? Falling for the Good Guy is a quick, entrancing read I'd highly recommend!

Good Book! This is the second book in the Nice Girl to Love series and it is really good. I was lucky enough to read the first book and enjoyed it just as much. I found this book to be more emotional than the first, most likely because I intimately know the characters and the ordeals they experienced up to this point thus far. The story continues with doctoral candidate Abby Bartlett attempting to get over Connor Sullivan. Brian Sullivan, an educator, Connor's brother, and Abby's best friend for many years, has been in love with her for a long time. With both being unattached, Abby and Brian decide to give a romantic relationship a try, since little sparks are beginning to creep into their already solid relationship. Emotions run hot throughout the book, with Abby and Brian's budding relationship, Skylar's (Brian's daughter) seizure, the memories of the tragic death of Brian's wife Beth, Abby's residual feelings about Conner, and how their lives are woven together. If you enjoy a sexy read with a lot of emotion, this book is for you! I am looking forward to reading Book 3. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Violet Duke Leaves us hanging again or does she..I think everyone at some point has had a really good guy friend in their life. What would you do if your friend had more than just friendly feelings for you one day? I was positive after Resisting the Bad Boy that Abby would live happily ever after with Connor and that there was no way she could ever be happy with Brian. Well Violet wrote it well and now it seems to me that there was never any other choice but Brian. Abby was a mother to his daughter when his wife was dying and it would only make sense that if she had any feelings for Brian that she act on them and help to mend a broken family. My issue with Connor at this point is if he truly loved Abby and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her he would have never given Brian the chance by stepping away. I could forgive him if he left her for a few weeks and then came to his senses and went after her but four months is too little too late at this point. Violet does a great job again with character development and I expect that she will turn the tables on me again with book three. I am looking forward to its release at the end of this month.

WHAT!! How could it end that way?!  I adored the first book but Falling for the Good Guy blew my expectations right out the water. I fell in love with Brian & Skylar both. You are probably wondering what happened to Connor. Wells ladies and gents, this story has nothing whatsoever to do with Connor. And let me tell you...I don't know who to choose! Getting to know Brian was just what I needed. I like his personality and the way he treats Abby. His love for his daughter is very endearing as well. You can't help but fall a little bit in love.  This book has an emotional scene that had me tearing up like crazy. I don't want to spoil anything be because the scene took me by surprise.  But never fear, there was still tons of humor and quirky-like scenes to make the book fun and sexy just like the first one.  I can't wait for the third book!!! Hopefully it comes soon because I am not a patient person! ***This book was given to me by author for an honest review***

Storyline drove me nuts but the writing is awesome! I'll be honest, I'm team Connor all the way. So, I'll just say I love Violet's writing style and storytelling...but the story and Abby made me crazy. And while Brian's a nice guy, he's also a douche :)

I have been sucked into this story. What a decision Abby has to make when she really thinks she loves Brian and Conner shoes up at her office out of the blue. Ready to read the end to find out what happens.

I could not wait to continue Abby's search for love after the way the first book ended! We knew that there was a shelf-life for the relationship between Abby and Connor and so in book two, Abby is working on getting over the inevitable ending of her whirlwind relationship with the younger Sullivan brother. Brian Sullivan, who has been Abby's best friend for as long as anyone can remember, is finally moving on after becoming a widower at much too young an age, not to mention raising his young daughter on his own. He, Abby and his daughter spend time together all of the time and while Brian has never taken Abby for granted, he's starting to feel differently toward her. He's starting to realize that maybe all he needs and wants has been right in front of him all along. Not only has Abby given herself a "deadline" in which to mourn the end of her relationship with Connor, she's also starting to realize that Brian has more than platonic feelings for her. With him being her best friend, she is not willing to risk that friendship to see where the romantic feelings might lead even though she's very well aware of Brian's growing feelings for her. She also is wrestling with not being a stand in for Brian's deceased wife. Will Brian be able to convince Abby to give them a real chance? And, will Abby be able to put Connor out of her mind to be able to give Brian the chance he deserves? While this book isn't the most conventional since we are dealing with a set of brothers and the same woman, Violet Duke does a fantastic job of crafting a story that draws you in right away. Again it is funny, emotional and sexy. I can't wait to see how all of this plays out in book three!

A great 2nd book in this serial! As in the first book in this serial, Conner and Abby were together. But, Conner has stepped down to give Brian this one and only chance to either drop Abby or propose to Abby. Brian is a very gentle, patient and kind man. It’s been awhile since his wife died of Huntingtons Disease. He stayed by her side the entire time, even though with the dementia she didn’t even know who he was. Brian’s daughter, Skylar, tries to give her father pointers about getting Abby’s attention (like taking his shirt off around her to show his chest and muscles). Abby had been there for Brian and Skylar through the ordeal with his wife’s illness. She was especially there for Skylar. Abby already loves Skylar. Can Brian get her to love him also, but not as a friend. He really tries hard at romancing Abby, but he doesn’t have the experience like Conner does. His wife was his one and only love from high school on. There are some twists and turns in this book, like the instance where Abby finds out about Brian making up stories about falling in love with her. Abby has been studying for her dissertation. In this book, you will find out how she does with that. So many things are different with her and Brian, than it was for her and Conner. The characters in this book were great. The story was told in a manner that draws you in. I’m geared up to read the third book in this serial to see what’s going to happen. I am excited to see if Abby is going to choose Brian or Conner. And to see what great things are going to take place in her decision. If you read the first and second book in this serial, you will definitely want to read the third book. I recommend this serial to everyone. It’s a great romance.
