Seventh grade is a really big year. Especially if, say, for instance, your camp crush, the one who wanted to be "just friends" has finally decided to take an interest in you—now that you've been flirting with someone new. That's just Priya's dilemma. But all the girls seem to have their own share of problems and solving them without their closest camp friends by their side is no fun at all."

Meet the Author

Melissa J. Morgan started going to sleep away camp when she was eight years old and didn't stop until her first job after grad school refused her request for eight weeks of summer vacation. She's since quit that job to become a full-time author. The only reason she didn't go back to camp is that her husband refused to join her. Melissa lives in New York with him and Bugle, their Chocolate Lab.

    Oh the Drama!!

In this book, the campers are stuck in school and not at Camp Lakeview. The girls keep in touch. Priya, Tori, and Valerie are very important in this book. They deal with sibling and crush issues. Together, they can contact each other and over come their challenges!!

    Valerie--written by a 6th grader

Before this book, I thought Valerie was just like an extra in a movie...not a main character, not mentioned very much. But when I read this book, I discovered that Valerie is one of my favorite characters. Everyone can really relate to her. Don't rush through the series like I did! I read all 20 books in one summer!

    I love this series!

I love this series! Every book makes me so anxious for the next one to come out. I remember the first time I bought the book, the only reason I did was because I needed to use up my gift cards. After I read it I loved and saw there was another one I flipped out. I usually like thicker books but this series is addicting, I'm telling you. Especially since I'm around that age and the characters are just like me. You have to read this series!
