Kailin does it again! I am totally hooked on this amazing supernatural series!
The second installment of the series takes off right were we were left. Celestra and Greyson are flying away from the battle raging below them between the Others and The Underground. We have no idea if Jack is going to be alive after the battle, if all the “faded” information will be saved, and were Celestra and Greyson are going.
We soon find out that Greyson has been Faded and has been imprinted with a lot of information about The Underground, so him and Celestra are going to another hidden facility of The Undergrounds. We meet Lionel the head of the facility, learn that Jack is alive!, and that there is something out there putting off the same frequency that Celestra does.
If you thought Fade was action packed then Falling is action over load! From the first battle with The Others at the Fade Facility to an all out war at an Others warehouse… You find out what Jack and Celestra are and why there powers are heightened when they are together, and lots of surprises from and about Greyson that leaves you stunned and saying “WHAT?!” over and over again.
The characters in the story have developed tremendously and enjoy the direction they are going in. Celestra has finally siphoned out her feelings and enjoys/embraces the power running through her! Jack is a heartthrob on a stick. He has total devotion to Celestra and will do anything to keep her safe. Greyson…. I still have a bad feeling about this guy and that he is hiding something. (well, he totally is! I'm just not sure what exactly yet but I have some ideas ;) )
I am GREATLLY looking forward to Book 3 and I cannot wait to journey on and discover more about Celestra, Jack, and Greyson! I sense something very good in my future. :)

I should have known that it always gets better the second time around. Taking off from the exact spot of where book one left you hanging, it’s an explosive beginning! With the others trying to kill Celestra and destroy the underground, she has some choices to make. Along with the fact that every time Jack’s in troubld, her powers come out.

So all Jack wants is go keep Celestra safe. The head of the underground has just seen her in action. The others just want to kill her. And a secret slips that leaves her reeling. I’m still just hoping something good comes out of all this for Celestra. I just want to get a little normalcy for fed.

So, it seems Jack and Grayson have finally found a compromise from killing each other; that’s keeping Celestra from being killed. And who does she love more? And who can she live with… Or life without? And we add some characters, though we saw some of them in book 1! I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what’s gunna happen! I enjoyed seeing just a little character growth, as you can’t expect much in short periods of time.

There isn’t much I can say to give justice to how fun it is to read Ms Gow’s books! It’s such a thrill ride. It’s like a tug of war rope that pulls you in and won’t let go!! I now absolutely can’t wait to read book 3!! I have a feeling that the thrilling rollercoaster ride of Celestra’s life isn’t even close to being done.

Even more love now, so you should definitely get your hands on this series!! I love it!! 5 PAWS!!

After the heart-stopper that was the cliffhanger ending in the first book Fade we are taken straight in the action, at the exact same spot the previous book left us at.

There is so much action in this book, it is sure to keep you entertained, after the attack on the Underground, Celestra has been moved to a safe location, but with the disappearance and suspected death of Jack she is devastated, but she still has Grayson and while she's torn between the two of them she knows she has to keep a hold of her grief at least until they have rescued the head of The Underground Sebastian, whom was taken hostage by The Others.

So when they plan to launch a surprise attack on The Others at their headquarters , Celestra gives everyone a look at what she is capable of, and not everyone in The Underground are happy with the power she posesses, and may take it into their own hands to dispose of her themselves.

But what exactly is she? And more to the point will she find out the identities of the people working with her who want her dead?

Another fantastic addition to this series, I highly recommend everyone pick this series up.

Falling picks up where Fade leaves off. In the heat of a life and death battle between "The Others" and "The Underground," Celestra, has discovered her unique and deadly gift, and unfortunately, has displayed it in front of everyone there. Jack makes a decision and orders Grayson to escape and take Celestra to Location Two. Celestra doesn't want to leave Jack behind and Grayson ends up having to sedate her to keep her under control. Overwhelmed by grief and the fear that she has lost Jack forever, she finds herself at Location Six, meeting a whole new group of people that are also part of the Underground. When a discovery is made that may shed revelation on things, they travel to Sweden in an attempt to investigate. The only problems is that "The Others" are also on the scene and more fighting erupts. Celestra feels drawn to location of the anomaly and upon entering finds "the source" which seems other worldly. She also finds Jack, and realizes just how much he means to her. Jack has a past also, and he and Celestra have more of a connection than anyone is aware of. An attempt is made to free Sebastian, the leader of the Underground, who is also Jack's father, which culminates in an epic battle and puts Celestra and her powers to the test. Light is shed on who Celestra really is and where she possibly came from. She now finds herself questioning if she can trust the very ones who are supposed to be protecting her.

Falling has nonstop action from beginning to end. Celestra, Jack, and Grayson find themselves in situations that test their skill and resolve again and again. Celestra also must choose between Jack and Grayson, who both end up being the only ones she can truly trust. As Celestra's powers increase, she also finds herself wondering if she can control them. Falling is an outstanding sequel in the Fade series, filled with fast-paced and thrilling action, romance, science fiction, and fantasy, and kept my attention from beginning to end. If you are looking for something unique and different, then the Fade series is something you might want to check out.
