When I heard the song, "It's about time", I just had to find out who the group was. It is an great song full of girl power. They have such a clean sound that just catches your attention. I literally listen to the cd all day at work. It just energizes me up. This is the year of the girl bands and Lillix is in the lead. I dare you listeners out there, listen to the cd and fall in love with it. Lillix has style, rhythm and most of all the voices and talent.

Lillix being the newbe's to the United States, has actually been rockin it in Canida for years! These girls may look like a typical girl band, but there not! There a gradge band! There songs exspress how girls feel at different times in there life! The girls of Lillix rock! They sing and play there own instruments and not to mention right there own songs! What more could you ask for? These girls kick butt! If you are thinking about buying this CD, do it! You wont be disapointed! So go get it! So what have we learned? We've learned that LILLIX rocks, and that they aren't your typical girl band! SOOO...... GO BUY IT!

One day I got this e-mail about this new band from Canada called Lillix and at first I didn't pay any attention. Finally one day I listened to "It's About Time" and I thought it was a catchy, upbeat song. It was enough to get me hooked. I bought the album the day it came out and it hasn't left my CD player yet. Falling Uphill is probably the best debut album from any band or artist in a long time. Tasha-Ray Evans is only 17 years old but she plays the guitar like a pro. I believe she is well on her way to being one of the best female guitar players out there. Lacey-Lee Evans is Tasha's older sister (Lacey is 19) and she plays the keyboards. Louise Burns is the 17 year old bass player and she is one of the best bass players I have heard in a while. Kim Urhahn is the 23 year old drummer and she is absolutely awesome behind the skins. A lot of people like to compare Lillix to Avril Lavigne and Michelle Branch but I don't think that's a fair comparison. They do have certain similairities to these and other artists but these girls are unique. The lead vocals are shared between Lacey-Lee, Tasha-Ray, and Louise and this shared vocal arrangement works amazingly well. There isn't that many albums out there that I can say I love every song on the album but Falling Uphill is one of those albums that doesn't have a bad song on the album. Every song is absolutely awesome. The girls also write almost every song on the album by themselves. They had help from The Matrix and Linda Perry on a couple songs and they did an incredible cover of "What I Like About You" that rivals the original version by The Romantics. These girls rock, they are extremely talented, and I believe they have a very bright long future in music. I highly recommend everyone buy this album and show support for this talented band that is bringing rock n roll back into the main stream!

I listened to It's About Time online via their official website and liked the song. I then decided to take a chance on them and buy the CD and I am glad I did. In my opinion, this is an enjoyable CD and one of my favorites so far this year. I bought the album the day it came out and it's one of my most listened to CDs out of the albums I am currently playing. I honestly do not skip any of the songs on the CD. My favorite songs on the album are It's About Time, Quicksand, Sick, and Dirty Sunshine. But I like them all and most of them could make it on my favorites list of songs from the CD. For me, I don't think any of the songs are bad. If you enjoy guitar driven pop and/or their first single (It's About Time), you should enjoy this album. It's an enjoyable listen from a talented up-incoming band. I hope to hear more from them in the future.

I am always trying to find good new bands to listen to when I'm out shopping. The band has to have soemthing that drawns me in for more, makes me want to listen to the WHOLE CD not just there popular single. When I heard Lillix's first single 'It' About Time' I knew these girls wouldn't be the next one-hit wonder. Tasha-Ray, Lacey-Lee, Louise, and Kim are 4 killer performers and songwriters. Their CD has all kinds of songs on it. The kind you listen to when your down, songs about school life, boys, and anything someone would want to hear a song about. There isn't one song on the CD I dislike. I have been singing its praises since I bought it! The songs all have killer lyrics and a good melody! As a songwriter myself, I don't normally give praises to my future competition, but when I heard Lillix there was no way I could not give them credit for there music! It's killer and always keeps me in a great mood! This CD will definately have a permanent place in my CD changer until the band puts out another album!!!

The girls of Lillix prove their vocal and instrumental talent with their debut CD Falling Uphill. This is the best girl band I've heard in a long time. They are strong and their voices are in perfect harmony with each other. Singers Tasha-Ray, Lacey-Lee and Louise all bring different elements of sound to the table, and drummer Kim brings their music all together. I am so happy with this CD. My favorite song is "Sick". It has a fast beat and is a perfect example of how the girls' voices harmonize with each other. I can relate to all of the lyrics. The song "24/7" describes a girl waiting for her guy, and how it feels like she is waiting forever. Who hasn't been there, right? "Quicksand" is empowering and uplifting, with lyrics like "I can reach the sky without being dragged down". I can't forget "It's About Time", the girls' single debut that everyone loves - it's been on MTV's show TRL for over a month now! I recommend this CD to everyone! The girls rock out with their guitars and drums, and their voices are incredible! LILLIX ROCKS!!

I bet you've already heard Lillix's hit single "It's About Time." It's been playing on radio stations for months! This new band has catchy tunes and an awesome CD. With other songs including "What I Like About You," "Tomorrow," and many more, this CD is guaranteed to get to number one on the billboard charts. So go to the store and buy this great CD. It's definitely worth the money, especially if you like the kind of music that you can sit in your car with the top down and sing all of the words to. It's guaranteed to put you in a great mood!

I saw the music video It's About Time and I thought the song was very good but maybe a tad bit too pop-like. The song was so good that I went on the internet to learn more about Lillix. I listened to some clips of their other songs and thought they were great so I went ahead and bought the album. Wow, this is now one of my favorite albums. I haven't liked an album this much since No Doubt's Tragic Kingdom (8 years ago). All of the songs on the album are fantastic! It is so hard to choose a favorite because I love them all but if I had to choose I'd say Tomorrow and Promise are my favorites. It was surprising that It's About Time which is a great song would turn out to be least favorite on the album next to What I like About You. That's not to say I don't those songs. It is rare when you get a cd and you like every song on the cd. Usually I just listen to a select few from a cd but Lillix has really outdone themselves. Lillix made an album before this but they decided that it wasn't satisfactory so they scrapped it and started from scratch. It took them 2 years to make this cd. You may think that Lillix is just a manufactured by-product of Avril Lavigne but that isn't a fair statement. All the members of Lillix are experienced performing artists, 2 of the members are sisters. And like I said before, they worked on this album for 2 years, long before Avril Lavigne became a star. You owe it to yourself to check out Lillix if you are a fan of pop-rock, or even if your not. ;)

This is one of the absolute best CDs you can buy. If you only had 15 dollars in your pocket for a CD, Lillix is worth spending it on! "Falling Uphill" has great songs which tell stories, in which you can relate to. If there is one CD you buy this year, it has to be Lillix's "Falling Uphill."

These Girls are hopefully the new faces of pop rock. This is the type of music needed to change what is played on radio stations so that we can be saved from all the theory of a nickelcreed etc bands. And these girls make watching the video much more enjoyable

Falling Uphill is simply brillant.Kim Urhahn, the new drummer, gives the music an outrageous beat while Tash-Ray Evins,Lacey-Lee Evins, and Louise Burns all have angelic singing voices. But when you add those amazing voices to the hard bass playing, the drum's hardcore beating, and the heavenly keyboard, its like having Craig David meet Avril Lavigne. Harmony also changes, such as in Quicksand,Tommorow,Promises, and Lost and Confused. While Dirty Sunshine,Sick,Its About Time, and What I like about you makes you want to jump up and down and never stop. This is a MUST for everyone. Because once you start that cd player and start listening, you'll never want to turn it off.

I think that this CD basically rocks. The lyrics are great and not just the normal blah blah blah that has been coming out.

Lillix is such an amazing new girl group and they totally rock! They are a *true* band. Every song on "Falling Uphill" is wonderful and unique. I love their remake of "What I Like About You" and I think my favorite song on the CD is "Fork in the Road". All of their songs will get you intensely hooked on their sound and their refreshingly new appearance and sound. I have no doubt that Lillix is going to be big and we'll be seeing a lot more from them in the future.

The four lovely ladies of Lillix sound as lovely as the look. Let's go over each song. 1. Tomorrow- A very cathcy song, the chorus begins "so i wake up, put on my make-up" A very good beginning, but that's just a taste of Lillix. 2. Quicksand- A more edgier song. The lyrics don't seem to be specificly about anything but that's what draw's my attention. Other than lyrics, the music to this song blew me away. After the first listen, I've found myfavorite Lillix song. 3. It's About Time- A more pop-ish sound that caught people's attention on TRL and Nick Video Picks. But those people are only hearing one side of lillix, and I think they will be quite surprised how much more edgier and softer some songs are. 4. Dirty Sunshine- The only song with one swear word. It's safe for everyone! Don't worry! haha! Anyway, this song is Amazing. A much more rocky song than others, and the chorus comes and with a mixture of rock and pop. This song explores many genres of music and that's what makes it so great for everyone to enjoy. 5. Invisible- Don't be fooled by the beginning. It's a beautiful song, you can really hear the keys. The chorus is creative music-wise. There is a nice guitar solo. I'm not a big fan of ballads but this is amazing! You'll love it. 6. 24/7- Another slightly slow song, but kind of up-beat. I don't know, you can't really describe it. The vocals are done well. It's a good song, trust me. 7. Sick- Another edgy song, the lyrics and music are amazing! Very creative, you wouldn't believe young teens and adults wrote this! I love it! 8. Beacause- It's an amazing song! It's one of those feel good songs! It's a good song to listen to after sick. 9. A slow song. Wondaful. 10. Fork in the Road- I love this song a lot. So catchy! You'll love it! 11. Promises- see my review for track 9. 12. What I like about you- A cover song of the Romantic's big hit! What more do I have to say? Over it's an amazing CD. But it and you won't be sorry or don't buy it and regret it! It's a musical Journey that you'll love going on. It's a CD where you don't have to always skip songs and all of them are your favorite! I recommend this to everybody!

i dont know where to begin, this cd is awesome!!!! i have to admit i was a little skeptical in the beginning about purchasing their cd b/c i thought they were another typical manufactured girl group, boy was i wrong...these girls write their own music and rock at it too...in each of the songs on the album you are guarunteed to find meaning and truth...no joke...they even play their own instruments(something which few artists are seen to be doing these days)...i have to say, i bought this cd the day it came out and every day since then i haven't been able to put it down...usually, i get tired of a cd after a couple of dayz but if you get this one, it wont stop playing for a long time...so in all, this is a MUST BUY album...ive talked to plentiful people who have purchased it about their favorite songs and each has a different, they are all great, mine change daily...but as of today, im hooked on "because" an upbeat song about guyz being clueless, "promises" a slow-tempo song with a heartload of emotions, and "dirty sunshine" one of those songs where you are just pissed off at the world and want everyone to leave you alone, but then again, i really do love all of the songs!!!!...so to end my 'essay'...lol...I just want to get the point out that this cd ROCKS and you should not pass up on the opportunity to buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LILLIX ROX!!!!(weex rox, tasha-ray rox, lacey-lee rox, kim rox!)
