While some aspects of the book are very accurate, many come straight from the propaganda by the chinese communist party. For example, the self immolation is a documented 'frame Up' of Falun Gong, by the government. Falun Gong cultivators, do not take a life, more or less their own under any circumstances. Many aspects of the book are just further spreading of the governments propaganda .As history tells the Chinese communist party is 'king' of propaganda and brainwashing of its peopleWas this review helpful? maria gives the gov. of china the role of hero for killing people for their beliefs. there are no so called secrets in falun gong and it poses no threat, being a peacefull meditation practice. maria assumes much about the practice and jumps to conclusions. dont read this book. falun gongs challenge to china is a much better third party book. Was this review helpful?
