With some knitting needles, yarn, and these 25 patterns for colorful toys from the experts at Family Circle, it's possible to create an entire playroom's worth of fun for children. Watch a kid's eyes grow wide at the sight of such items as a friendly stuffed monkey and stackable alphabet blocks. A spirited puppy has a velvet button nose and his own special sweater to wear. The "It's a Hoot!" owl actually makes sounds, and it's made in simple stockinette pieces. Panda Pal is nice and big, and the bear's head makes a great pillow or seat. Each project features easy-to-follow instructions and charts where needed.

Like the book very much and will knit more. However, the sheep pattern has an error....an ommission in instructing to knit in pattern the stitches needed for the sheep's tummy. 45 rows in pattern is a big error! Figured it out, completed the sheep, using wool purchased in Ireland. Happy with the results, but getting there was a little frustrating.
