Family-Friendly Biking in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania based on 0 ratings. 2 reviews.
I got this book for Father's Day and my wife planned our first 'trip' for the other half of my special day. As an avid road rider, I was mediocore on the idea but we had a very enjoyable family day. We did need a NJ map to supplement directions but the book maps matched and we found the majority of the information very accurate. I highly recommend this book to families that want to bike. And it looks like there are lots of different rides, depending on how much biking your kids do.
After a nasty collision with a thicket while avoiding a turning car two years ago, I swore I would never bike ride again. This book has changed my mind. A friend and I got out last weekend and did a ride on the Paulinskill trail and are now planning rides for free weekends. The book covers over 20 rides (though a few looked to short for us) and the directions/descriptions are right on target. If you like to bike but don't like to be around cars, this is the book for you. See you on the trail!
