I enjoyed the characters, the mystery, and the humor. (The humor is a bit bawdy, so if you're offended easily this isn't for you...though really it's mild.) The plot and writing style kept me engaged. The humor kept me chuckling right along. Recommend reading the first book in this series and then this one. I hope there will be more in the Dix Dodd series.
