I would just like to announce that I have successfully passed my AANP exams on yesterday and I owe a lot of praises to this review book. Yes everyone I purchased far to expensive CDs and review materials and guess what it left me confused and broke. This book teaches you the techniques of how to answer board-type questions and the information in the book was certainly on the exam. I can not believe what a great resource this book was and with so little a cost. Thank you author for this wonderful tool.

I have been a registered nurse for over 20 years, and a nurse educator for over 10 years. I am currently preparing for my certification exam for Family NP. While I haven't taken the exam as of yet, and cannot comment on my success in using this book to prepare as a result, I have been very impressed with the layout of the book and have found the questions to be very helpful in studying. I have two additional books that I have been utilizing to prepare with for the last 6 months, and as I am nearing the exam date within the coming month, I have found myself using this as one of my top two. I have found the questions to be well written and challenging, and well balanced.

This is all you need, I put away Fitzgerald and Hollier, this is hot off the press for right now!

If you study this book front to back. And follow all the test taking techniques, and do the practice questions you will surely pass the boards. The book is laid out perfectly. It is very up to date. This book has over 600 test questions that are so so like the AANP exam. Since ANCC just released another test in August with a different format, I don't know about that exam. This book covers ANCC as well as the AANP. Get this book and take the AANP. It is worth more than what it is selling for.

    Highly recommended

Excellent book it breaks down the important material nicely. What has really helped me is the way it teaches you to dissect a question.
