    Smuggling Secrets Over the Border

I am a Northerner who fancies good Southern cooking over anything a Northern cook can put on the table. I feel as if I have smuggled the South into my kitchen with this cookbook, and am happy to have it. The best recipes for good straightforward Southern cooking can be found here.

    Great Family Secrets!

This has to be one of the greatest collection of recipes. Many bring back memories of past dinners at my grandmother's house. I can't wait to start my own family secrets... with these recipes, of course!

Over 500 Pages of Good Cookin'

I was impressed by the size of this book. It could easily become the modern Southern cook's handbook. The recipes are written in a clear, consise, easy to follow manner. It also contains a variety of recipes, ranging from the classic to the comfort foods. I plan to charm my weekend guests with 'Lemon Souffle Pancakes' covered in homemade 'Raspberry Butter.'
