Meet the Author

Allison Stacy is editor of Family Tree Magazine. As one the original editors, she's helped Family Tree Magazine evolve from a startup publication to the nation's most widely read family history magazine. In addition to editing and writing family history content for the magazine and Web site, she teaches genealogy workshops to adults and youths. Allison has more than 10 years experience in journalism and publishing.

As managing editor of Family Tree Magazine, Diane Haddad has helped genealogists track and record their family history by editing how-to articles, blogging and writing the magazine's weekly e-mail newsletter. Before starting with the magazine in 2003, she worked in communications and journalism for a variety of craft and business publications. Diane lives in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio.
