This was only our second book of the Fancy Nancy series, but my daughter just loves it! Between the fancy words, fancy clothes, and pop-open doors throughout, my 4yo requests to read it often. I agree with a previous reviewer that the writing seems different than the hard-back book, but this is still fun!

We do not do a lot of sweets in our house so books like these are perfect for holidays that have candy as the primary focus. These books are written well enough but there is something more special about the hardback ones these ones seem to be written by ghostwriter not Jane O'Connor. This won't stop me from buying them on holiday's they are nice for Easter and other holidays but they aren't loved as much as the rest of the series. This book did include pop up features, which my four year old loved so much and anything Fancy Nancy is a winner in our house I just missed the quality of the hardcover books.

This is a very colorful "pop up or pop open" book for young children. Fancy Nancy introduces complicated words to kids. This is interesting and fun for the child and the adult reader.

Adorable pictures with a charming story and big words that enhance curiosity of interesting new words and their meanings.

Fancy Nancy is so much fun, especially for little girls. The art work is whimsical. The stories are interesting and age-appropriate. And without making a point of teaching, children increase their vocabulary and love for new concepts. Giving this to children in my family as an Easter gift was just plain magical.

My granddaughter loves Fancy Nancy and looks forward to each new book that I find for her. We have a wonderful time reading Fancy Nancy together. She gets an extra kick out of the fact that Nana's real name is Nanci.

My son actually wanted this book. At first I thought it may be too girly, but he loved it and wants to read it all the time. I think it is good for boys or girls. The illustrations are great, there is always something for him to "find" in the pictures.

I purchased this as a gift for a sibling as she has the same name. And it was for fun and laughter. She will be able to share it with the children she comes in contact with. Also sent her the butterfly stickers. She enjoys her gardens and likes to share her bounty with others.
