Overview

Fandom is the third studio outing from Houston alt-pop band Waterparks and their first for the Hopeless Records label. The trio made some waves with their 2018 LP Entertainment, which marked their first chart entries in both the U.S. and U.K. Produced by Zakk Cervini, Fandom's 15 songs traffic in themes of societal pressures and expectations, mental health, and breakups. On it, Waterparks cover a range of sounds and tones from strident pop-punk and bright electro-pop to acoustic fare. ~ Timothy Monger
