Perks of this assignment: I get to spend a lot of time in clubs and my undercover outfit is smoking hot, with no VPL (visible panty lines for those playing along at home).

Downside of this assignment: I have to offer Bobby to the killers as bait!

Gina Covello is back in this third installment of the Vamped series. There is nothing Gina enjoys more these days than a little down time with her best friend, Marcy, and her boyfriend, Bobby. Working together as a team of vampire liaisons for the federal government has made down-time scarce—and it is about to become nonexistent. A gruesome series of murders leads the feds to investigate The Tower—a complex nightclub that specializes in hosting elaborate vampire role-playing sessions for humans. The catch is that the real owners of the club actually are vampires, perhaps with murderous intent. It is up to Gina, once again, to uncover the truth. Diver successfully creates a vampire teen who is active and assertive and has no time for angst. Gina has a biting, sarcastic voice that makes the Vamped books quick and entertaining reads. There are times, though, that Gina's tone becomes vapid, and her constant commentary on appearance, make-up, and fashion is not balanced appropriately with any significant character depth or development. The continual use of stereotypical teen jargon, as well as Gina's misappropriation of words, may discredit and alienate more intelligent readers.     Highly Recommended - you must check it out!!

    Gina has got to be one of my fave protagonists. She's got wit, personality, and let's not forget good taste. She always knows how to fight a good fight and is up for any challenge. Let's face it, out of all the vamps out there, nobody can compare to Gina Covello.

    If you crave action-packed adventure mixed with a hint of humor and fun, this is the book for you.

    A Fangtastic sequel!
