"The Fantasticks" by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt is a classic of American theater. Deeply moving, poetic, and affecting, it tells a timeless story of love, rebellion, and redemption with great music, a libretto entirely in verse, and a distinctive style drawn from Shakespeare and Commedia Dell'arte. It ran for over forty five years in the same theater Off-Broadway and now continues a new run in the Jerry Orbach Theater in Times Square. A great classic that has affected me greatly and will affect you too if you give it a chance! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. This is one of my favorite musicals of all time. I have never been able to find a version I could play. The version of ¿Try to Remember¿ is beautiful! I played it at my mom¿s 80th birthday party last week and it was a hit!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
