I found Fantasy Football Basics to be an exceptional “how to” book—one written by a true expert who knows not only the game but how to write. It is extremely well-organized, with easy to read and easy to follow instructions. It quickly fills the novice with the basic facts necessary to understand the strategies recommended by the author to be a successful fantasy football player. “Fantasy Football Basics” gives the reader much more than the title suggests. There is a wealth of information about strategies not only for the beginner but for experienced players, including drafting, free agency, trading and choosing the starting players for each game. This book is a bargain; you won’t be disappointed. It will take you far into the fascinating sport of fantasy football.

If you've ever wondered what FF is, why people are playing it, and how to get started yourself - this is the book for you! Sam Hendricks has taken the "basics" of fantasy football and broken it down into easy to understand chapters that are fun to read. He covers everything from the NFL and FF rules to draft tips and also includes important resources for help. This is a great book to learn how to play ff and should be required reading for the beginners in your league.
