Meet the Author

Sam "Slam" Hendricks is a 20 year fantasy football veteran who has teams in the World Championship of Fantasy Football (WCOFF), National Fantasy Football Championship (NFFC) and the Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC). He has a .725 winning percentage at the World Championship of Fantasy Football (WCOFF) and Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC). In 2008 he finished 7th overall in the Fantasy Football Players Championship. In 2009, he finished 16th Overall in the FFPC (out of 228 top players).

He is a member of the Fantasy Sports Writers Association (FSWA).

Look for his rankings and expert analysis in magazines such as Fantasy Football Index and Fantasy Football Pro Forecast. Follow his mock draft teams in those expert leagues as well. During the season, check out his advice in the weekly "Ask the Expert" postings on FantasyIndex.com

    First book to have everything I wanted for fantasy football

    First it got a great review by Robert Zarzycki, World Championship of Fantasy Football 'WCOFF' Champ, so that got me interested. After reading it, I realized this is what I have been trying to find for years. It has the history of FF and tons of variations for how to play the game. The tips and strategies are worth twice the price of the book. It is like an encyclopedia of fantasy football knowledge. It even includes auction and IDP leagues. If I had to be critical some things were repeated but thats because it is designed so that you can read just the chapters that apply to your league. Overall great book I am giving another copy as our league prize this year for worst team 'so that they can improve for next year'!
