These cards are very study and stand up to the rigors of my 16 month old - Standing on, chewing on, trampling. The box that they come in is very study as well. They do close the box with a small dot of Velcro that came off in the first day and could have been a choking hazard, but don't let this detract from the overall value and good quality of these cards. Even without the closure, the box is very nicely made and will stand the test of time.
My only complaint is that some of the cards in this farm set are a little difficult for younger kids. "Combine tractor" I think is advanced at least for the younger kids and they change "Dog" to "Sheepdog" in this set, which is confusing. I think that they could find more suitable objects on a farm, but they might be ok for older kids. Most of the other cards are very suitable (cow, pig, sheep, etc).

One of my twin son's favorite books. I think they were able to relate to the pictures and the sound of the words. They would look at it on their own as they grewl. The noisy farm always made them smile & laugh. They're almost five & I can't part with it.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. One of my favorite gifts for new babies! The sturdy peek-a-boo pages, and individual head shots of farm animals, making their distinct sounds, is perfect for teaching little ones the animals, and the sounds that these farm animals make.
Bright, colorful, and just the right size and thickness for little ones to easily turn the pages and pull down the giant, full page sized flaps.
From infant to toddler this book has been a favorite for our four grandchildren. I had to replace the "worn" one with a new one for our one year old granddaughter. She was amazed with the new pages with bright pictures and flaps that she just loves. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
