This book is chock full of information about growing and eating your favorite vegetables -- from the buying of the seeds or plants to the presentation at the table. A very informative source for those who grow their own (amateur or pro), in addition to those who would just like to know more about what they're eating. Important facts about the foods are given, along with perhaps new ways to prepare old favorites. My mother-in-law, who has been gardening for over 50 years, loves it and picked up many hints about better crops and better taste! If you're new to growing, or even an old hand -- this is the book for you!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

I am a 25 yr. old gardener. This is my 2nd year in a community garden and I love it. This book is absolutely perfect!!! I wish I would have had it last year. My garden is 10 times more productive and fun! The book gives clear descriptions of how to plant, harvest, store and enjoy a large variety of vegetables. The recipe ideas are great too! It makes gardening fun and easy! This book is such a great gift to society. I recommend it to all of my friends! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
