while the title of this book has the word "diet" in it I hope those not on a diet will also pick up this book. What I liked most about it is that I am not a fan of dairy products and was happy to see Shan's recipes without dairy! You don't have to be counting calories to enjoy there, I made some of the salads and thought they were a fantastic idea, a refreshing change from the boring salads that I often make. Since I often have frozen fruit (specifically mango) at the ready in my freezer, these were great options to make. if you want a refreshing dish that's not heavy, these are really delightful.
