I did not find them as satisfying as other books, but I did enjoy them. Most of the stories seem too fast paced and end too abruptly. None-the-less, this book is in my Nook library for a while.

Anything you get for free is worth what you paid for it. First of all, be aware that Fast Fantasies Volume 1 is actually a promotional book the author is using to "expose" readers to her "not free" stuff. In actuality, the two snippets from her other works are relatively decent, but unfortunately the vignettes occupying the first two thirds are no where near the same quality. The author writes these vignettes almost exclusively in present tense, an awkward narrative mode that even experienced authors have difficulty pulling off. Choppy doesn't even begin to cut it. Also, vignettes themselves rarely translate well into erotica. There is no build up of sexual tension beyond the initial scenario described. So basically, you're getting foreplay, then a different kind of foreplay, followed by a different kind of foreplay, with no opportunity to actually move on to something better.
That said, I have to admit that some of the vignette ideas were actually intriguing and would have made excellent short stories.
The last two segments of the book contained the author's true work and while there wasn't enough there for me to recommend buying MS. Sartucci's novels, I can at least say that her writing mode was past tense, much easier to read, with smoother flow.

These short erotic tales are designed to get to the point quickly with each story ranging in size from an ultra-short few hundred words up to a maximum of about 2,000 words. But don't confuse their brevity with them not having a plot. That's far from true as you'll soon see. Download Fast Fantasies now and try to keep up with them!
