Fast Five [Original Score]

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide
Like its predecessor, Fast & Furious, Brian Tyler's orignal scoere for the film should not be confused withthe various artists' soundtrack album. This set contains the complete versions of the 25 cues excerpted in the film. Also like its predecessor, Tyler combines modern orchestral music, rock and electronics in a heady, dryanmic and dramatic brew that stands on its own as a piece of music. Of particular interest on this set is the use of nylon string guitars, and small, eight stringed Andean lute instrument, the charanga as they interwact with large scale swirling strings on "Cristo Redentor," and the funky electronic melody of hip hop and samba on "Remote Intel.,"
