Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

The title of this book doubles as an acronym for symptoms that often experienced by the millions of adult Americans with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD): Forgetful. Achieving below potential. Stuck in a rut. Time Challenged...Motivationally challenged. Impulsive. Novelty seeking. Distractible. Scattered. Identifying those symptoms, of course, is much less than half the battle. Written by two physicians who specialize in adult ADHD, Fast Minds takes the acronym as the jumping off point to improve the reader's condition in both behavioral and environmental ways. Make no mistake: Fast Minds is a resource to be used, not simply a reference book for the shelf. Editor's recommendation.

This book was empowering from page one to the last and I found myself asking the book itself were it has been the past thirty years when I needed it most. With checklists, questions, and a plethora of information, this book is a must have for all parents, educators, and therapists alike.
