Editorial Reviews

Blog - Boni Rychener
Bob Moats once again amazes me with his brilliant storytelling ability. In "Fatal Rejection", he writes from the point of view of not only the victim but the murderer as well and he was able to pull it off wonderfully. The parts of the story told through the eyes of the victim, Sarah, were soft and light with a hint of sadness while the parts told through the murderer's eyes, Derek, were brash and hard and it was easy to get caught up in the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel.

Meet the Author

Detroit area resident, Bob Moats, has been writing short stories and plays for as long as he can remember. He has lost most of his original stories, typed or handwritten, in the numerous moves he has made from his hometown of Fraser, Michigan to Northern Michigan, to Las Vegas and back to Fraser, where he now Resides. He also wrote the short fantasy novella "Crystal Prison of Kyr" and is a published playwright with his three act comedy "Happily Ever After". Moats became one of the causalities of unemployment early in 2009, and had time on his hands to finally pursue a life long dream of writing a full blown crime novel. Thus was born the first book, "Classmate Murders". What followed was a series of 20 books starting with "The Classmate Murders" which introduces the main character, Jim Richards.

    Interesting premise. Exciting finish.

Well, Bob Moats wrote more of an Adult story. At first I just was not sure. I do not like graphic descriptions. But I am Bob Moats fan so continued to read. The conclusion was exciting. Very well written. I have read all of the author's Jim Richards Series, I highly recommend them. I am going to read the next one of this series and see how it goes.

I first learned of Bob Moats through his Jim Richards series which I fell in love with..
I admit that I was hesitant about reading this one cause it did not sound like what I am interested in.
But once I started reading I was hooked... My heart went out to Sarah . She was trying so hard to make a new life for herself
in Washington State leaving her problems behind her in New York  but Harcourt was determined to make her new life not exactly what she was hoping for.

I have read all of Bob Moats books and highly recommend them.

After reading Bob's Murder Series books this was a very good variance. His new characters Sara and Dave were believable and charming. Sara sure has had a rough time in New York and moves to a small town in Washington State. She thinks moving to a new town will stop all her past problems. Unbeknownst to her the problems follow her. Very good fast read. Starts a little slow but picks up. I do recommend this book
