Overview

This electronic version of Fatal Vision is extensively revised from the 2001 print and electronic editions.

Having psychic abilities isn't all that great, as Morgan Tarrant could testify. They already cost her a normal family life, several jobs and lots of moving around. Vowing to keep her psychic abilities a secret, she moves one last time to French Creek, Indiana. However, she didn't count on an evil from her past following her.

After his last undercover job almost cost him his life, Detective Gabriel Walsh moves to French Creek to escape big city problems. He soon learns that evil isn't picky about where it lives or whom it threatens.

For several years, Darien Storm enjoyed using his minor psychic abilities and a con artist's tricks to bilk the public as the Messiah. By the time he reaches French Creek, he's tiring of the gig and ready to move on. Then, opportunity knocks. Morgan is beautiful, rich and holds the promise of powers he can only imagine. He lusts for her, and nothing will stand in his way to possess her.

Forced to confront the evil that invades her world, Morgan trumphs and gains a treasure worth more than gold.

Editorial Reviews

Kathy Boswell
“Fast-paced, exciting and extremely intriguing, I highly recommend FATAL VISION.” 4 Stars.
Leslie Tramposch
“FATAL VISION is a heady combination of paranormal and romantic suspense featuring a heroine who is strong, courageous, but also very human. The hero is as tender as he is tough, and the villain is the epitome of a serial killer, intelligent, cunning and inherently evil. Well plotted, this story will keep the reader guessing to the very last page.”
Lisa Wine
“I loved this book, and could not put it down. … There is plenty of romance, suspense, action, and a paranormal element. I highly recommend this one to anyone who loves a good read.”

Meet the Author

A Hoosier born and raised, Monette still lives in the heartland near Indianapolis, Indiana

After Monette obtained her law degree, she worked in a small general practice attempting in her own way to right wrongs and fight the good fight. Little did she realize that all those clients, opposing counsel and the problems she handled would jump start the need to write fiction. But after twenty years in law, she did just that -- started writing. First, romantic suspense, then adding paranormal, then adding a sexier side (as Rae Morgan).

She still practices law - - but writing is her passion.

Monette is married to her college sweetheart and has one son and a cat. The cat is the boss.

    A well-written book worth reading!

I found this debut book by author Monette Michaels a very fast paced and entertaining read. For those who are lovers of mystery/suspense you won't be dissappointed here. Ms. Michaels knows how to hook you and reel you in for one page turning read--right to the very end. I, for one, will anxiously await more titles by this new flourishing author.
