Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
This neat little handbook is wisdom passed on by the author from fathers of successful daughters, 378 pages of short suggestions, to be exact. The book begins when "she" is born and is divided into sections called The Wonder Years, The Mystery Years, Girls and Spirituality, Girls and Sports, Girls and Money, Girls and Cars, Girls and Boys and Older Girls. There is advice for every occasion and some will surprise you, like, "She may decide to punish you by not talking. Enjoy your peace!" (p.193) There is invaluable advice that is likely to bring a smile to your lips or a tear to your eye. A perfect gift for the new father! 2003, Workman Publishing, Ages adult parent.
— Meredith Kiger, Ph.D.

    Great gift for Dads

With 6 sons all now having babies, this is a great book for the new Dads.
They seemed to be left out with all the showers for moms and babies almost getting no attention at all. They all really think it's very special to get something just for them.
Now a days the dads as so much more hands on that any advice they can get is good.
As they look through the book, they all chuckle as to how true alot of the sayings are.
The Father to Sons book is great also.
I am highly recommending this book to all new dads.

    wonderful book!

I gave this book to my husband on his first Father's Day. It's humerous and practical. We have enjoyed looking through it for 4 years now and know we will continue to enjoy it!

Just a little listen, Dad's...it will change your daughters' life.

I wish my father had been fortunate enough to read this book before I became a 46 year old parent myself but he read it this week. He laughed at the wonderful simplicity and cried for the lost ties that may have bound us together more closely by reading this little big book. Don't be fooled by the one-liner way in which this book is written. Keeping it simple with some unbelievable wisdom is as good as it gets.

A perfect little handbook for new fathers.

Great read. My mother gave this to me for Christmas after my wife and I presented her with her first grandchild. What an excellent gift. Thanks Mom, and thanks Mr. Harrison for putting these simple, important facts and tidbits of wisdom together for us fathers to read.
