This book is an enjoyable study of how two comic characters have evolved over the decades. From the simple, powerful stories of the 40's, to the amusing and quaint escapades of the 60's, to the sophisticated storytelling of the lates 80's/early nineties, this book features some of the greatest Two-Face and Riddler stories as well as shown how comics in general have evolved over time.

This book features two origins of Two-Face: the original from the 40's and an updated one from 1990(which overlaps the events in THE LONG HALLOWEEN); both of which are among the best Batman stories ever done. The Riddler stories are pretty good and there is a very good story about Oswald Cobblepot's childhood before he became the Penguin. Comic book stories of this quality deserve to be preserved in the permanent format of a book.
