Overview

Brian Patrick Merrick starting writing poetry in his teen years, and at times it was his only escape for mental illness. His poetry is heartfelt and imaginative and has captured an audience all over the world for his written word and poetry with music. Some of the poetry is a cry for sanity at the worst times, and as time goes on, a plea to help others with similar struggles. He has been published 11 times, has won the editor's choice award from the International Library of Poetry, and has also been featured in a spoken word CD called "The Sound of Poetry." Some describe his poetry as hardcore and straightforward, but that's up to you to decide.

    Feelings are not facts

This is a nice and easy to read. The poems have a nice rhythm and there is a variety of different subjects. I'm sure everyone will find some that they can relate to and have had the same feelings. No matter what page I open the book to, I find that I want to read the poem again. This is a book that I will read from often. I recommend this book.

    A wonderful book!

Brian Patrick Merrick starting writing poetry in his teen years, and at times it was his only escape from mental illness, depression and ADD. His poetry is heartfelt and hard core. He has been published numerous times. My goal is to help those who struggle. Let me entrance you with my poetry.
