Touching on a sensitive, yet topical subject, Feels Like Falling dealt with the death of a spouse. Surprisingly enough the reader could still find a small window to laugh and sigh along with the characters in this story. I often found myself pausing and reflecting on Ta'Rae's actions when faced with her husband's past during a time when you would think none of that kind of thing would matter. It was easy not to view this read as a novel but more of a window into the souls of Ta'Rae, Sebastian and their family. The division of the story into topics made it easy to understand the changes in the characters attitudes as well. When you stopped and said, why did she say that, you had to realize that maybe it was truly anger that spurred the characters actions. I liked that, it made the reading smooth and the transition easy to understand. I highly recommend this read to anyone who enjoys something different from the normal and expected ending.
