Purpose: It is intended as an authoritative summary and review of clinical echocardiography.
Audience: This book is a teaching and reference tool for technologists, physicians in training, and practicing cardiologists with an interest in echocardiography.

The chapters on the assessment of valvular structures and the use of echocardiogram in the ICU and perioperative settings are particularly excellent.
